I hope to get more into the sustainable production end of things in future posts. I view stockpiling as a sort of “emergency fund” until one can begin producing things oneself or find local sources. I also try to make reasonable use of our insanely abundant industrial waste streams as a stopgap measure while bringing production online. I really like your system of sussing out opportunities to incorporate more sustainable habits and technologies into daily life.
